In my hand I held an aventurine stone that Gema infused with Reiki energy. Almost immediately, I felt the energy start to pull sorrow that was hiding in the depths of my heart. I knew that there was something within me from my past that was bothering me, but I didn't know what it was. Moments later, Gema began a Reiki healing session, and she immediately knew where the blocks were in my body. As she hovered her hands over the base of my spine, I felt the powerful energy of life emanating from her palm enter my being, shifting the energetic blocks within my body mind and spirit, allowing energy to flow through me. Visions of my forgotten past begin to appear in my mind, as the healing energy opened the pathways in my body to allow it to emerge. This was the truth that I needed to release and heal.

I have been on a healing journey to unblock that which has been preventing me from living my truth, and Gema was instrumental in helping me to uncover a major piece of my past that I may not have been able to recognize on my own. Her gentle, kindhearted spirit is soothing to my soul, and the energy she channels through her hands is so pure and powerful.

A year ago, I didn't really believe in any of this. I had a massage therapist do Reiki on me once, and I didn't really feel anything. I once thought that there was no way that crystals and stones had any effect on our body when we held them in our hands. As a person that relied heavily on science to explain how the world works, I was a skeptic back then. Today, after experiencing Gema's Reiki healing session, and feeling the energy from holding her energy infused stones and crystals, I now believe in the power of energy healing.
